It was great to see so many people turning out to learn about moths and butterflies at our July event.<\/strong> We ran moth trapping on the Saturday evening and a family engagement and activity day on the Sunday – overall it was a great success.<\/strong><\/p>\n Despite awful\u00a0trapping conditions, the three traps at Salix produced an impressive haul of 34 different moth species identified, highlighting the sheer variety of moth species here in the UK. If you are interested, you can find the full list of species below.<\/p>\n The following day saw around 40 folks young and old attending Claxton Village Hall to\u00a0learn more about these wonderful insects and find out more about the South Yare Wildlife Group.<\/p>\n
