Since we are often dependent on a range of venues, experts and the seasons, it can be a challenge to provide our members with a menu in January that covers a calendar year’s worth of events. On this point- we keep trying! However, we are happy to present here as full of a programme as possible for the remainder of 2022. Note that a word file is attached to the post, should you wish to print a copy and stick on your fridge\/potting shed door\/utility room wall or similar. Of course- these are subject to change, so keep an eye on this site and our social media channels.<\/p>\n
Events listings Summer, Autumn and Winter 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n June 18th<\/strong>– Surlingham School fete. SYWG will have a stall here so come along and check us out. September TBC<\/strong>– Talk on Large Marsh Grasshopper Reintroduction
\nJune 19th<\/strong>– Wild Patch Open Gardens. See recent post.
\nJuly 8th<\/strong>–\u00a0 Hellington and Rockland reserve Wild Flower evening- SYWG members welcome. 6.30-7.30pm
\nJuly TBC<\/strong>– Bat Walk at Rockland Broad
\nAugust 21st<\/strong>– Loddon Jubilee Hall Wildlife Activities Afternoon. Excellent for families. 2-5pm.
\nAugust 28th<\/strong>– joint walk with Hellington and Rockland Group covering 4 churches. 2-4pm<\/p>\n
\nOctober 19th<\/strong>– Wild Ken Hill talk at Poringland community centre 7.30-9.30
\nNovember 16th<\/strong>– Joe Harkness talk on mental health and the natural world
\nDecember 4th<\/strong>– Winter Walk at Rockland\u00a0 with seasonal refreshments 2-4pm<\/p>\n
