Really exciting developments for SYWG and the Norfolk countryside. On Thursday the 20th of April, Stuart Green of Citizen Zoo is joining us at 7.30pm at Claxton village hall to tell us all about the process of re-introducing the Large Marsh Grasshopper to a number of sites in our recording area. We will need foster parents to look after these beasts in the early stages of their existence, prior to moving them to a local patch of fen. Could you be that caring parent? Equipment and guidance will all be provided. Whether you are in a position to do this, or just want to find out why this insect is back in Norfolk, come and join us next week.
