Here are some photos of an ongoing conservation project that the group has been driving. Working with local farmers, nesting boxes targeting Barn Owls have been installed on land in Hardley. Everyone knows that SYWG puts on some excellent talks with engaging speakers, but this quiet conservation is just as important and we are thankful to the local farmers for their support, and to Andy and Jake for making all of this happen. Well done chaps, let’s hope the Owls appreciate your work. I am sure the boxes will be used at some point; indeed, a Barn Owl was hunting close by as the boxes were being erected!
